How long will my claim take?
Primarily there are two main factors to take into account. Firstly when can your compensation be completely calculated and secondly how efficient will the defendant be in dealing with your claim. To give you a rough idea - most straight forward whiplash cases take about 12 months to complete. |
Trials
Most people are nervous about appearing in court, even as a witness. Please remember the following:
* Most claims result in compensation.
* The vast majority of compensation is reached through an out of court settlement.
* Trials in smaller cases are becoming increasingly rare. |
